Supply Chain Reporting & ESG Solutions Manager

One of the core pillars of the SAI Platform’s Strategy is the development of industry solutions that allow for farm-level sustainability assessments and reporting sustainability performance along agricultural supply chains.

SAI Platform is recruiting a Supply Chain Reporting & ESG Solutions Manager. This role is part of the Industry Solutions Team and is responsible for leading the on time, on budget development of B2B Supply Chain Reporting Solutions. Phase 1 will be to develop an updated version of the Dairy SDP Reporting Hub with Phase 2/3 to extend the solution to the Crops and Beef value chains.

With this position SAI Platform offers an influential role in the agricultural raw material sourcing sector. This position is home-based with the preferred location of Brussels.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the development of the Sustainable Dairy Platform (SDP) Reporting Hub and Reporting Hub Modules: carbon module, system enhancements, Regenerative Agriculture and ESG
• Ideate and execute development plans for crops and beef B2B reporting solutions, looking at opportunities to leverage work already undertaken and lessons learned to minimise duplications and drive continuous improvement.
• Engage with SAI Platform working groups to understand needs and expectations from B2B reporting solutions and define business/solution requirements focussing on the areas of greatest opportunity and impact.
• Define scope and project plan with key milestones and deliverables using an agile and iterative approach to solution design and delivery with built in feedback loops.
• Engage with IT service providers, facilitate the RFP process and manage the on time, on budget solution build to agreed scope and requirements.
• Create timely and impactful status updates targeted to the different stakeholder groups
• Provide timely and effective member support to facilitate the implementation and global roll out of the SDP with easy-to-use toolkits to drive user engagement and adoption
• Respond to user support requests on a timely basis
• Promote and onboard new users of the SDP IT platform.
• Ensure the SDP Learning Centre is up to date, accurate and easy to always navigate
• Facilitate the continuous engagement with SAI Platform workstreams to continuously collect user feedback and product requirements to drive continuous improvement.

Candidate requirements:

• Able to demonstrate previous experience of designing and implementing iterative IT solutions development projects, ideally in the context of sustainability reporting.
• Understanding of agricultural supply chains, across the full value chain, as well as relationships and data flows between individual supply chain segments.
• Proven ability to value stream end-to-end processes to drive continuous improvement
• Able to demonstrate a good understanding of and familiarity with ESG reporting and sustainability
• Experience in working with 3^rd party service providers for IT development.
• Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills with good attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Self-motivated and able to work remotely within a virtual team.
• Service-oriented attitude and able to work in a fast-moving environment.
• Ability to work in a multi-stakeholder environment and manage diverse interests, whilst ensuring focus on driving results in a timely manner.
• Knowledge of assurance and verification processes in the food sector is preferable.
• Experience and understanding of livestock industry is preferable.
• Full professional proficiency in English is essential; additional languages are an asset.
• Advanced Degree in supply chain, procurement, sustainability or a related area
• Lean Six Sigma skills/accreditation desirable.
