Job Description

The Brussels School of Governance is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented student to support research and administrative tasks in the field of Business and Human Rights in Belgium. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic academic environment, working on innovative issues at the intersection of law, policy, human rights, and the environment. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

 

  • Assist with research on Belgian and European legal frameworks related to business and human rights, more precisely on access to justice. 
  • Support the preparation of academic outcomes and practice-oriented documents. 
  • Conduct literature reviews and monitor relevant legal and policy developments. 
  • Provide administrative support for other related projects. 

Profile

What do we expect from you?

  • You are enrolled in a university programme (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Law or a related field but with good knowledge of Belgian and European legal systems, particularly the judiciary. 
  • You have proficiency in Dutch and/or French, with excellent English level (spoken and written). 
  • You have the ability to work independently and meet deadlines. 
  • You have interest in human rights, corporate accountability, and access to justice.
