Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our project team in driving an innovative European action plan to transition from live animal transport to meat and carcass trade. The primary goal of this project is to engage key supply chain and societal stakeholders in facilitating this market-wide shift, ultimately reducing animal suffering and improving sustainability in the agricultural supply chain.

As part of the project, the successful candidate will help organize and facilitate an international forum, develop case studies, engage with EU policymakers, and support the development of actionable recommendations for legislative changes. This role is key in gathering evidence of successful existing transitions, driving collaboration among diverse stakeholders, and contributing to the creation of a new regulatory framework for meat and carcass transport within the EU.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, skilled in stakeholder engagement, and have a strong understanding of animal welfare, and sustainability as well as the stakeholders involved in this trade. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence EU legislation, promote innovation in supply chains, and contribute to a more humane and sustainable transport system across Europe.
