
Business Analyst and Salesforce Platform Owner

Job Description
As Business Analyst and Platform Owner, you will be the interface between the business and technology, working across our organisation to understand business needs and translate these into technology solutions. One of our key growth enablers is Salesforce, leveraged across a broad spectrum of relationships including our funders, partners, community, alumni and more. You will build a roadmap for delivering relationship management capabilities within Salesforce and other tools across the organisation and will be responsible for our relationship management platform – the systems, processes and data which enable us to have quality, valuable relationships.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- You will act as main point of contact, business analyst and project manager for selected IT implementation projects (namely Salesforce), with a focus on Relationship Management capabilities.
- As part of the Relationship Management Track, you will be directly engaging with our business teams and will be responsible for the relationships with executive sponsors of the projects. You will discuss and analyse business requirements and processes
- You will be part of the Tech Team, within the Operations team, reporting to the Head of Tech
- You will coordinate the implementation of IT platform(s) and tools at the organization. You will be responsible for the Relationship Management Track (example: set up Partnership Self Service Portal on Salesforce). You will lead the project(s) from procurement to delivery by external providers or internal IT Staff
- You will support the Head of Tech with the development of an organizational IT Strategy and Data Strategy
- You will act as product owner for our Relationship Management platform(s) (Salesforce) and coordinate training and support to users
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Qualifications:
- You hold a degree in business, IT, engineering or related fieldor equivalent by experience
- You have a business analysis qualification or demonstrable experience as a business analyst
- You have a track record of supporting IT Projects with as a business analyst or project manager, delivered in matrix organisations.
- You are skilled at translating business and user needs into operational building blocks supported by IT tools
- Passionate about usability of platforms and IT tools, you have previous experience in user usability, information management and data analysis / structuring in a client-facing role.
- You have previous experience in driving cross-functional IT projects that show your capacity in bringing solutions to various users with a service-provider mindset.
- You are knowledgeable about Project Management Methodologies, including Agile.
- You have experience with Salesforce implementations and holding a Salesforce certification would be advantageous.
- You are fluent in English

- Your project management skills have taught you to be flexible and focused: you enjoy complex problems and delivering short and long-term solutions to teams across various business units
- You are able to work in an ever-changing organisation, comfortable with ambiguity and can deal with uncertainty.

CONTRACT TYPE
Full-time permanent position.
LOCATION & TRAVEL FREQUENCY
This role is based in our HQ in Leuven, Belgium. To be eligible, you must be based in Belgium and have the legal right to work there. We offer hybrid working options.
Occasional travel within Europe might be required.
